도살이 예정되어 있던 엄마가 남긴 아기 둘이 구조되었다 > 조사 & 구조활동

케어는 2022년 마지막 날 도살 예정되어 있다 구조된 엄마가 남겼던 아기 두 녀석을 구조하였습니다. 마을에서 나눠 먹는다고 도살 시간까지 계획되어 있던 엄마 개를 구출한 후 남아 있던 두 명의 아기 황구가 걱정되었습니다. 주인이 포기하지 않았던 어린 아기 둘이 남아 또 다시 성견이 되면 아기들을 낳고 아기를 낳으면 그 부모 개는 도살되어 마을 사람들이 개고기 잔치를 벌이는 것을 두고 볼 수 없어 케어 재정 상 무리한 상황이었지만 구조했습니다.

개들이 살던 집도 철거하도록 하였고 다시는 개를 기르지 않도록 다짐을 받았습니다. 조만간 가서 확인할 예정입니다.

나이 든 주인들은 “ 왜 우리 집에만 와서 이러느냐 ” 며 대화가 잘 되지 않았지만 끈질기게 설득하여 구조하였습니다. 이후 이들의 자녀가 우연히 부모의 집에 들르다 이 상황을 보았고 케어에게 연신 고맙다는 인사를 하였습니다. “ 부모님이 개들 이렇게 방치하며 기르는 것 너무 싫어서 내내 잔소리해도 고집을 안 꺾어 답답했는데 데려가 주셔서 정말 고맙습니다.... ”

아기들의 물은 꽁꽁 얼어 있었습니다. 엄마가 사라지자 굴속처럼 깊이 숨어 있었습니다.
아기들을 달래어 안아 들었습니다. 아기들의 이름을 <린타>와 <카요>라고 지었습니다.

The last rescue of 2022: two puppies left at the slaughterhouse.

Recently, we rescued a mother Jindo dog whose time to be slaughtered was determined: The owner already had the plan to share the meat with his neighbors. We couldn’t save her puppies at the moment because the owner stubbornly resisted giving them up. However, it was obvious that puppies will go down the same path as their mother, we rescued them despite our financial difficulties. It was never easy to persuade the owner; but after a long and arduous process of persuasion, the owner surrendered the ownership, agreed to demolish the doghouses, and promised us that he will not raise dogs ever again.

Puppies were hiding in a dark corner after their mother disappeared. After calming them for a while, we took them out of the dark place and named them “Rinta” and “Kayo.” Both of them will start a new life in New Year.
