킹은 동두천의 한 동물병원에서 자기 몸만한 철장에 감금되어 4년 동안 하루 최소 22시간 이상을 고통 속에 살았습니다. 정신병이 걸리지 않은 것이 다행일 정도.

케어에서 2일 간의 설득 끝에 결국 구조하였지만 병원 원장은 거짓말로 변호사를 대동해 전화를 걸어 오고 있기도 합니다.

한 달 후 자신에게 보내기로 했으면서 왜 안 보내냐는 것입니다. 그런 약속을 한 적도 없고, 포기한다는 녹음파일도 케어가 갖고 있는데도 불구하고 왜 아직 집착을 버리지 않는 것일까요?

병원장의 집요함 때문에 킹은 스카일러라는 새이름을 얻고도 그동안 다른 유료위탁처에 숨어 있어야 했습니다.

The husky named King had suffered for the past four years, spending around 22 hours a day in a small, cramped cage at a veterinary clinic.

After a strenuous two-day effort, CARE successfully rescued King. However, the clinic's director has engaged a lawyer and has been making false assertions against us, claiming that we agreed to return the dog to him after a month. We never agreed to such terms, and we have a recorded statement verifying his intent to surrender the dog. One cannot help but wonder why he persists in his fixation on the dog, resorting to baseless claims.

Due to the director's unyielding stance, King, who now goes by the name Skyler, was temporarily hidden in an undisclosed boarding facility. We have decided not to keep Skyler hidden any longer. Together with your support, we will protect Skyler. Stand with us as we watch over Skyler, who now relishes his newfound freedom in a spacious RUN.
