어린 개들의 발이 계속 뜬장에 끼이고 아파서 우는 현장, 이곳은 천안의 도살장입니다.
와치독은 6월10일 천안의 30년된 도살장을 급습하고 살아남은 개들 68명의 도살을 막았습니다. 염소들 41명은 격리조치 하였습니다.
개들에게 신선한 물과 먹이를 주기 위해 음식물 찌꺼기가 눌러 붙은 그릇을 씻습니다.
아기 염소들은 젖을 달라며 울어 댑니다.
개들은 굶주림에 지쳐 누워 있습니다.
와치독은 오늘 하루 종일 도살장에 남아 개들에게 신선한 사료와 물을 공급했습니다.
처음 먹어보는 사료였지만 굶주린 개들은 허겁지겁 먹어 치웠습니다.
똥물에 빠지고 더러운 그릇을 몇 시간씩 씻어야 하는 등 열악한 환경이었지만 살아남아 도살로부터 자유로워진 개들에게 배불리 사료와 물을 먹이며 와치독들은 고단함으 잊습니다.

On June 10th, Watchdog intervened at a longstanding slaughterhouse in Cheonan that had been in operation for over 30 years. We successfully prevented the imminent slaughter of 68 dogs and secured the removal of 41 goats from the premises.
The conditions in this old slaughterhouse were devastating. Puppies tumbled from hanging cages onto piles of waste, as their mothers watched in despair. Numerous other puppies whimpered, their feet caught in their cages. Both dogs and goats alike showed signs of severe malnutrition. Food and water bowls were filthy with old food scraps.
Watchdog enforced the permanent closure of this slaughterhouse, which was notorious for its cruel practice of hanging dogs. In the aftermath, Watchdog spent the entire day at the site, ensuring that the dogs received fresh food and water.
