Last March, when CARE visited the prosecutor's office as a witness in regard to this appalling event, we adamantly urged that the offenders receive the maximum 3-year sentence, considering the unparalleled cruelty exhibited in this case, which is unprecedented on a global scale. The prosecution earnestly considered our plea.

Today, during the trial, the prosecution sought a 3-year sentence. It will be indisputably just for the court to impose the maximum sentence of 3 years.
